i am so glad I found The Julian Center! have been looking for a holistic dentist in Maryland for a long time. I don’t know how I missed Dr. Sam (as he is known) before but this is good. He practices safe, effective methods of dentistry including amalgam (which includes mercury) removal. I went today and had a thorough workup which includes cone beam x-rays. I have been reading about these for years. They are significantly more effective at finding oral issue than standard x-rays. The exam was very thorough and I look forward to discussing the results and treatment options with Dr. Sam after he has a chance to look over my results. I will finally have the amalgam removed from my mouth without worrying about the bad side effects from dentists who just drill them out. On top of that, the staff there are wonderful. The receptionist (whose name I forget) was very pleasant and friendly. Ann, my dental assistant, was also very pleasant and friendly as well as very thorough. She explained everything and made me very comfortable. We talked about her background. How she had amalgam fillings that once removed gave her a much better memory - a problem I have had since I was a kid. Anyway, by way of a long winded explanation, this is the most encouraging dental visit I have ever had with very pleasant people. I very highly recommend this practice if you value not only your dental health but also your overall, health!

Hi, my name is Nancy and I am 52 years old. Let me share a bit of my dental history: due to poor practices in conventional dentistry, I ended up with two bridges, root canals, and crowns. One day, I started having pain in a tooth that supported a bridge; I couldn't bite down on that side. I went to my dentist, who took X-rays and concluded there was no infection, suggesting the pain might be due to a fracture. He referred me to an endodontist to kill the nerve through the bridge and fix the fracture. I was really scared and told myself, "This can't be right! I *know* I have an infection!" That’s when I started researching the link between oral health and overall body health—something I had heard about before. I dug deeper and looked for a clinic that practiced this holistic approach, as I had been suffering from constant diarrhea, stomach inflammation, and joint pain. I searched for holistic clinics and found The Julian Center; I read their history and everything about the practice, and here I am. I started treatment almost a month ago, have had two extractions, and am very satisfied and grateful for the impeccable work the entire team does. Dr. Reicher is the best; he is very professional and takes the time to explain the treatment in great detail, making you feel comfortable asking any questions. Rebecca, his assistant, is very kind and gentle; she pays attention to every detail to ensure you feel at ease during every procedure—she is truly phenomenal. I still have a lot of work to do, and I plan to continue here, God willing. I highly recommend The Julian Center. Remember, money comes and goes, but your health is priceless.
